Landscape Design

Why should I pay to have a landscape design done?
Education is the key.  It is a huge opportunity to slow down, analyze all of the dynamics, list preferred materials, strategize the build and make sure the project moves forward professionally with the greatest value for the dollar on completion. Planning a project is part of the job itself, as I’m sure most of us would agree the most critical stage of the operation.
When we create a plan we are virtually building the project on paper. It gives us a chance to avoid pitfalls and suggest alternate materials as we go, including the client in budgetary and esthetic decisions before commencement, eliminating stoppages and confusion during the build.

By the time the design is finished we can say that we have formed a relationship with our clients before we break ground.
A good design will save time, money and frustration.
A good design determines the cost of maintenance, water, energy, and fertilizer for the life of the landscape.
A good design may determine whether the homeowner is watching football on any given Sunday or pulling weeds, whether they can go out to dinner one more time a month or pay it to the water district.
A good  design has all of these benefits,

A great landscape always springs from the initial concept, which is eventually made into a landscape plan.  A landscape plan always takes into consideration the needs of the client.  These needs are identified in several categories, some of which are…
Need for an aesthetically pleasing landscape. Do you want a shade/sun garden? Do you like to entertain? DO you want a garden that will withstand dogs?
Do you want a kid friendly garden?
Do you want a drought tolerant garden?
Do you want a pond or water feature?
Do you want synthetic lawn?
Do you want a French/English garden?
Do you want an orchard?
