South Bay Water Wise Garden Tour
The South Bay Water-Wise Garden Tour is a self-guided tour of South Bay gardens,
serving the areas of El Segundo, Gardena, Hermosa Beach, Lomita, Manhattan Beach,
Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, and Torrance in Southern California.
The purpose of this garden tour is to:
- Provide South Bay residents with the opportunity to see first-hand gardens using
water-wise techniques and plants
- Illustrate that healthy, attractive gardens can flourish with less water usage
- Motivate residents to try gardening using water-wise techniques
- Inspire gardeners to provide wildlife habitat in their gardens
- Provide an outing the whole family can enjoy
Throughout the tour you will encounter the beauty and pristine look of South Bay Area
Gardens that embrace the water wise gardening philosophy.

New FREE Spring Classes Beginning This Month! Water Saving Irrigation & Rain Water Harvesting Want to conserve some of that “free” water that pours out of the sky? Learn about rain barrels and water containment systems and see how they can be used to catch rainwater for future use, such as drip irrigation or to feed a waterfall. Also learn about the latest in water conserving irrigation products such as smart Irrigation controllers, environmental sensors, high efficiency rotator sprinklers, and drip irrigation.

Location: Amphitheater at Manhattan Beach Botanical Garden, west side of Polliwog Park. Park on N. Peck Ave. off Manhattan Beach Blvd.
Prior registration: Required for most. Reserve your spot so we’ll know you’re coming (in case of cancellation) and to ensure we’ll have enough handouts.
