CLCA WINNERS ANNOUNCED

The California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA.org) has announced the results of the 2018 Best of Los Angeles landscape competition.
Enviroscape LA picked up several awards and notably, won 1st place for the best water feature in the education pond division.  This project was designed and installed for the Redondo Union High School Science Department.

Another award was given for the pond built at South Bay Junior Academy in Torrance.

Natural ponds teach provide a natural setting where students can perform tests and learn about the cycling of life and provide a place where water can be tested for pH and salinity.

Enviroscape LA donated vertical Aquaponic systems to both projects which will allow students to grow vegetables and recycle and reuse the same water over and over, resulting in a 95% water savings over traditionally grown food.  This is extremely important in view of the mega-drought that is being experienced in the American southwest.

Enviroscape LA has been designing and installing ponds and water features for over 30 years, their most notable projects can be viewed at the California Science Museum in Los Angeles and the Greystone Mansion, in Beverly Hills.
