Native Plants

The health and aesthetics of a landscape start with choosing the best plants available.  Enviroscape works with plant brokers who draw from over 500 nurseries from northern and southern California, which ensures your landscape truly receives the market best. Part of the secret of Enviroscape’s award-winning success is the attention to detail in choosing the right plant for the right location.

Cacti and Succulents

Calandrinia spectabilis is a gorgeous specimen in a succulent native garden also known as Rock Purslane. This plant forms a small shrub 2 to 3 feet tall & up to 5 feet wide. The foliage is succulent, evergreen, & adds a nice soft gray-green to the garden. The real treat is the flowers, they are borne on tall wispy stalks held about 1 to 2 feet above the foliage.  The flowers themselves are 3 inches wide & are a bright glowing magenta color. The flowers bloom almost year-round in mild Southern California Gardens. Calandrinia thrives in heat, withstands drought, & tolerates poor soil. This succulent plant is also a good choice for containers, slopes, coastal gardens, & fire-resistant landscapes.

I think these are as nice as any traditional garden flower and they will save you money because you rarely need to water them
